James Okafor

Born in Lagos and raised in South London, James Okafor is a sculptor whose practice bridges ancestral craft and contemporary form. Working primarily with reclaimed hardwood, bronze, and welded steel, his sculptures explore themes of migration, belonging, and the transformation of materials through time.
